Ms Elspeth Losch: brings a wealth of experience and a broad musical background to her teaching. She began her career as an orchestra director for Lincolnwood District 74 teaching grades 3-8. While raising her family she went on to become a certified Suzuki instructor working with a music school in Woodstock Illinois under Stephanie Preucil, as well as a certified Kindermusik instructor, teaching with Kindermusik Northwest, consistently rated as one of the top 5 Kindermuik studios in the country. She is known for her ability to adapt curriculum and teaching style to the children who she is currently working with. Elspeth performs as both a violinist and violist, having played with the Chicago Pops, Northbrook Symphony, Evanston Symphony, and other ensembles. She serves as the librarian and contact person for the Millennium Strings which performs for receptions and weddings. She is comfortable playing pop rock, folk and classical styles. Elspeth has two grown sons; both are working in the music industry.
