Ms Elspeth Losch: brings a wealth of experience and a broad musical background to her teaching. She began her career as an orchestra director for Lincolnwood District 74 teaching grades 3-8. While raising her family she went on to become a certified Suzuki instructor working with a music school in Woodstock Illinois under Stephanie Preucil, as well as a certified Kindermusik instructor, teaching with Kindermusik Northwest, consistently rated as one of the top 5 Kindermuik studios in the country. She is known for her ability to adapt curriculum and teaching style to the children who she is currently working with. Elspeth performs as both a violinist and violist, having played with the Chicago Pops, Northbrook Symphony, Evanston Symphony, and other ensembles. She serves as the librarian and contact person for the Millennium Strings which performs for receptions and weddings. She is comfortable playing pop rock, folk and classical styles. Elspeth has two grown sons; both are working in the music industry.
Ms Kerena Moeller: Is our cello teacher. Kerena Moeller received her Bachelor's Degree in Music from the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester England and a Master's Degree in Music Performance and Literature from Eastman School of Music. Kerena also received an Associate of the Royal College of Music in London England for post- graduate solo studies and a Graduate Performance Diploma from Peabody Conservatory of Music. Kerena has taught the cello at the Maryland Conservatory of Music and The Levine School of Music. She is the principal cellist of the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra. During lessons Kerena will cover the fundamentals that all good musicians and cellists know. These will include technique, practice strategies, sound projection, tone control, rhythm, intonation, phrasing and artistry. Kerena Moeller will help you or your child on the path to success
