Owner - Cassandra Thuneman has been actively involved with orchestral repair and restoration since 1986. After managing one of the largest string shops in Illinois she started her own repair shop in 1994.
With a degree in Music Education from Illinois Wesleyan University Cassandra decided to focus her attention to student needs and interests along with repairs and restorations.
Mary Frances Starr is probably the first person you talk to when contacting Cassandra Strings.
