A: Cassandra Strings rents all sizes of violins, violas, cellos and basses. Instruments are German, Romanian or equivalent quality in sound and craftsmanship.

A: You can trade up from size to size any time. There is no charge to switch to the next size. Just call for availability.

A: You will make your first two months payment at the time you sign your agreement. After that we will send you a payment coupon book for your monthly payments or you can elect to have it automatically charged to your credit card each month.

A: At any time, 100% of all your rental payments (excluding maintenance fees and sales tax)* can be applied to the purchase of an instrument. This can be the one you are currently renting, a new instrument, or a fine hand- made instrument.

A: Cassandra Strings will accept Trade ins from the original purchaser of instruments purchased from Cassandra Strings. Instruments will be credited at 100% of the purchase price towards an instrument of greater value, minus a reconditioning fee. Trade in instruments in need of repair will be charged accordingly.

A: Cassandra Strings offers an optional maintenance policy, while you are renting, to cover damage or loss. This policy will cover repair on all damage (except negligence). Replacement will be made if the instrument is stolen and a police report is filed. Cassandra Strings must perform all repair work.

A: Just ask your child's music teacher. These instruments are unreliable because most are made from unseasoned wood. Some parts needed to play the instrument are not correctly shaped and most cannot be repaired. For your child to start out having a good music experience, it's imperative that they have a quality, reliable instrument that lasts.
