Jiri Pavolny Ceruti Model 202 Bass has a top table which is a two piece sectional plate of is of fine seasoned European Medium Grain Spruce, and the back table is two piece sectional flatback table of highly season European slight figured slab cut Poplar. Ribs are of matching character Poplar to that of the back table, and the neck and scroll are both original of moderate figured maple. The Varnish is a reddish brown color, antiqued in nature. The gears are Tyrolean wooden knobbed individual brass tuners. This bass offers an "old world" quality of sound , with great depth and projection in all registers. Set up with Pirastro Obligato strings, high quality French bridge with built in adjusters, ebony tailpiece with kevlar rope tailwire for openness and power.
